How do I get to Pulau Perhentian?

In Malaysia, you have several options to reach Perhentian Island depended on the location of your arrival. The simple journey path below may help you to travel by express bus from most locations in Malaysia;

If you arrived at Kuala Lumpur and prefer to travel by flight, you could take the flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kota Bharu Airport either via Malaysia Airlines (MAS), Air Asia, or FireFly over there. At the Kota Bharu Airport, you may take taxi to Kuala Besut Jetty.

What are the reservation procedures to book a room at the resort?

First, you must go to contact form and fill in all the appropriate information and submit the form to us.

Second, please check you e-mail as we will reply to your submitted form through e-mail (sometimes it takes to hours depending on our staff to reply you).

Third, you will get an e-mail from us that mention either your decided rooms are available on your check-in date. If they were available, we will issue a reservation confirmation letter for you. Otherwise, we will suggest the nearest check-in date or another rooms for you.

What credit / debit cards are accepted?

We currently accept the Visa and MasterCard credit cards with 3% additional service charges. Kindly bring cash to avoid any problems.

If I book a package, can I customise the package?

You can send us an e-mail to enquiry@arwanaperhentian.com.my for all your requests. The hotel staff will review your request as any additional or no charge will only depend on package rates.

If I miss the bus or flight to go home, Could I stay for several nights onward?

Yes, sure but it is depends on the room availability. We will try to arrange for additional nights for you with additional charges as mentioned in the package in rates section.

What if I cancel the booking after making the deposit payment?

If you request to cancel 7 days before check-in date, penalty RM100.00 will be applied.

What happens to my hotel booking if my flight is delayed?

Please inform directly the hotel as any additional or no charge will only depend on the hotel policy. And send us an email, SMS or note in Whatsapp with your ref number in order to do the needed for you.

Can I specify my room preferences (preferred floor, nonsmoking room etc.)?

You can send us an e-mail to enquiry@arwanaperhentian.com.my for all your requests. The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because they depend only on the hotel availability.

What are the different room categories?

Generally hotels tend to place their bedrooms within four different categories:
– Standard
– Superior
– Deluxe
– Executive
The actual differences between the bedrooms vary from one hotel to another, with executive being the highest standard of room.

Standard Room
– A standard room is designed to accommodate one to two person only. The room contains one queen bed.

Superior Room
– A superior room is designed to accommodate three people only. The room contains one queen bed and one single bed.
Deluxe Room
– A deluxe room is designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains two single beds or one queen bed.

Deluxe Family

-A deluxe family is designed to accommodate one family or four people. The room contains two queen bed.

Family Executive
– A family executive room is designed to accommodate fourpeople only. The room will contain one queen and two single bed.

Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form. We can also assist you in seeking accommodation that can accommodate more than four people in a room. Please specify the number of people in your party when completing your reservation request form.
Note that all kinds of room category are on request and depend on room availability.

What are the check in and check out times?

Normal policy of hotels displayed on our web site is for check in time from 2:00 PM
(14:00 hrs.) and the checkout time before Noon (11:00 hrs.).

Is breakfast included?

Yes, free breakfast include for two person from Sunday – Wednesday.

Is boat transfer included?

Boat transfer are not included unless stated for packages.
